What is a smartshop?
We offer an online smartshop for plant-based natural products and ethnobotanical products. The term originally comes from the Netherlands, where smartshops have existed for decades. The I LOVE POT smartshop is about plants with a history and a clear profile.
Blue Lotus: a water plant with a long cultural history
Blue Lotus, botanically Nymphaea caerulea, is a water plant from North Africa with a history that goes back to ancient Egypt. Tutankhamun's tomb contained dried flowers, and Egyptian temple walls show them in ceremonies.
Important: Blue Lotus is not sold as a food or a medicinal product. We do not give any recommendation for consumption or use.
Kratom: leaves from the rainforest
Kratom comes from the tree Mitragyna speciosa, which grows in the rainforests of Southeast Asia. The leaves are dried and ground into a fine powder. Kratom is sold as a botanical raw material, not as a food or a medicinal product. Three kratom powder varieties are available in the I LOVE POT range:
- Borneo White: white variety from Kalimantan
- Pure Green: classic green kratom from Kalimantan
- Red Maeng Da: red variety from Southeast Asia
