What you need to know about CBD hash
Pressed resin, no leaf, no flower. What is CBD hash? Trichomes are separated from the plant material, collected and processed into compact blocks. The defining cannabinoid is cannabidiol (CBD), and some varieties also contain CBG.
Hash or flowers: what is the difference?
Both products come from the same plant, but format and aroma are different. Flowers smell fresh, green and slightly floral. CBD hash, in contrast, has a more concentrated aroma profile: earthy, spicy, sometimes sweet and very different depending on the variety. Hash is also more compact than loose flower material.
If you are looking for variety, you will find both variants side by side in the CBD range at I Love Pot.
Hash varieties: Afghan Gold, Just Kush, Basic Blondie
Not every CBD hash tastes the same, and the consistency differs from variety to variety. Three varieties from the current range show how wide the spectrum of hash with CBD is.
Afghan Gold
This is exactly what many people mean when they think of classic hash: dark, earthy and with a consistency that feels firm but easy to mould. Afghan Gold contains 12% CBD and is aimed at everyone who is looking for a traditional profile and aroma.
Just Kush
This variety goes in a spicier, more herbal direction. The profile is clearly defined, and the smell is typical of the variety and direct. Just Kush contains 22% CBD and 12% CBG. If you know and like kush aromas, this is the one to choose.
Basic Blondie
This CBD hash is lighter, crumbly and mild in aroma. Basic Blondie contains 13% CBD and 8% CBG and stands out through its shiny kief.
How to recognise the quality of CBD hash
When buying CBD hash, quality shows in concrete features that you can assess yourself:
- Consistency: Neither crumbly and dry nor sticky and soft, unless the variety is deliberately made that way.
- Colour: Depending on the variety, light beige to dark brown, even and without unnatural spots.
- Smell: Clearly noticeable and typical of the variety. A lack of smell usually points to poor quality or wrong storage.
- Processing: Dry sift hash (finely sieved) has an even, clean structure that is visible to the naked eye.
- Information: Sellers without information on variety, content or processing are a clear warning sign.
What influences the price of CBD hash
Price differences have solid reasons: raw material quality, cultivation method and processing effort are reflected in the final price. Handmade hash costs more than machine-produced hash.
At I Love Pot there is clear information: variety, content and product description. The entire hash range is structured accordingly.
